It's been well over three Decades since we've last seen Great Western Hall class 'Hagley Hall' turn a wheel in anger and in today's video we see her on it's second day of loaded tests, where the footplate crew had seemed to bypass the gentle running in period with some enthusiastic passages for our cameras. The freshly out shopped Hall class minus a few missing parts is now well into her running in period as the loco beds itself in for it's star role at Severn Valley's Autumn Steam Gala in September and by going on today's showing she looks well up to the task and will no doubt be the firm favourite over the gala weekend.
