In 2024 I travelled to Ireland to Tullemore for the wood turning festival. I had a great time.
After the show I travelled around Ireland with 3 other woodturners to see some sights.
Steve, Tim, Dereck and Myself.
Next on our tour is Kinsale which is on the south coast of Ireland by lower cove, a very quaint little town where time seems to have stood still for decades.
This is where we met Hillary Hale another woodturning lady originally from England, she gave us a tour of her gallery.
I have been woodturning since 2013, I love it as a creative outlet.
For me it has been a journey, from my great great grandfathers wooden bowl that i own to my fathers the community or woodturners is great, there is lots of help and support out there available at the touch of a button. don't be intimidated or scared to ask questions no matter how basic, most of all be safe in your workshop, follow all safety rules and guidelines.
use channels such as mine as inspiration and entertainment.
it is recommended to get proper training with power tools to prevent accidents
most of all remember to be creative and have fun
