It has been a while since I have released a video on woodturning, I have been away from my workshop for too long. I just returned from Ireland where I joined the West Mayo woodturners chapter, it was 3 days that I will remember for a long time, met some great people and learned a thing or 2.
this is a display of many of the turned items on display at the woodshow 2024,
Our brand new chapter won the chapter challenge " Teddy bears picknick "
My good mate Steve Twydell won 3 individual awards
I have been woodturning since 2013, I love it as a creative outlet.
For me it has been a journey, from my great great grandfathers wooden bowl that i own to my fathers the community or woodturners is great, there is lots of help and support out there available at the touch of a button. don't be intimidated or scared to ask questions no matter how basic, most of all be safe in your workshop, follow all safety rules and guidelines.
use channels such as mine as inspiration and entertainment.
it is recommended to get proper training with power tools to prevent accidents
most of all remember to be creative and have fun
