The 2026 Maserati GranCabrio Modena is not a car about numbers. It is a car about the occasion. Drop the roof, fire the twin-turbo Nettuno V6, and an ordinary evening drive becomes theatre.
The Modena uses Maserati's own 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6, making 483 horsepower through all-wheel drive, with a soft top that folds in about 14 seconds at up to 31 miles an hour. It gets to 60 in roughly 4 seconds, and it does it under open sky. Against a Mercedes-AMG SL 63 it gives up 94 horsepower, but it undercuts that car by around 20,000 dollars and feels far rarer on the road. Step up to a Bentley Continental GTC and you are paying nearly double.
The honest catch: the Nettuno V6 is quick and characterful, but it does not sing at the top like the old naturally aspirated V8 these convertibles were famous for. If the soundtrack is the whole reason you want one, that trade is worth knowing before you commit.
