2023 is being heralded as the best year ever for videogames - and with good reason. From AAA blockbusters, to mega-hit revivals of old franchises to indie surprises taking the world by storm, it seems almost everyone is in agreement that this year has been one of the best for games... ever.
However, The Architect isn't satisfied - with all these good games coming out, it was only inevitable that some would slip through the cracks and not get the exposure they rightfully deserve. That's why every year this series of videos emerges from its post-holiday slumber to tell you all about 20 games from the last year you should have played... but probably didn't - and this year there are some real surprises in store...
