Here's a brief gameplay video of a Williams Big Ben pinball machine.

This game was designed by Steve Kordek with artwork by Christian Marche. The artwork is a neat snapshot of mid-70's fashion and style. The colours are very indicative of the period.

Gameplay is fast and fairly fun. The outlanes are a bit greedy, but the right and left shots up to the top are pretty satisfying. The drop targets are tough to hit without sending the ball straight out the sides.

Hitting the 3 drop targets down twice in one ball awards extra ball. Spelling "BIG" lights the saucer for points and then for special when completed for the 2nd time.

The game could have benefited from a spinner on the left (and maybe the right, too).

The chimes are nice. The Williams machines feel really solid. I like the chimes on the sounds of the mechanisms on Williams machines more than any other manufacturer of the era.

Overall, a pretty lackluster game from Williams in the mid-70's, but still fun and worth the cheap price they command.
