Taking Metaphysical and Existential Risks with Vervaeke and Bergson J.P. Marceau 2019-08-03 | Both Vervaeke's and Bergson's ontologies are viable. Bergson is however willing to take more risks, and gets more in return. This is true ontologically and also existentially.As far as the meaning crisis goes, Vervaeke's position can actually facilitate holding Bergson's by giving it a viable fallback, which, after all, still points towards the cultivation of virtue and wisdom. Thus, the very real existential risk of accepting Bergson's non naturalism can be strongly mitigated.

In particular, I want to cover the best of what came out of the discussions I had with Jonathan, John and Paul around non-reductive naturalism, levels of being, and the Incarnation.
