Ground run simulating power profile of the full 60-mile cross-country flight in a 6-seat Piper Malibu prototype. The vehicle utilizes the same powerplant configuration as in Q4 2020 flight tests, but new medium-range fuel system. 3 tanks 350 bar each target approximately 1hr max endurance - the next stage before the final 300-mile long-distance configuration.
The video shows the entire 'flight', with battery shutdown post-takeoff, subsequent 100% FC cruise and descent segment. The power levels are calibrated to ~200kW takeoff power, 90kW cruise power. 'The flight' ends with tank pressure at 70 bar from the 250 bar initial pressure.
