Day 2
I...don't know how to start.
When I helped Zelda (that's what she wants me to call her) out of the castle, we found Alfonzo near my train. He asked what was going on and Zelda explained what she needed to do. Alfonzo didn't like it, but he was willing to help since if something happened, he would be able to protect her.
But...as soon as I set my train to go toward the Tower of Spirits the tracks disappeared and the Tower of Spirits broke apart! I managed to right the train, but it couldn't move on grass. Then...Chancellor Cole appeared. He was actually a monster! There was also a tall, strong man with a metal arm there.
Cole intended to kidnap Zelda! Alfonzo did his best to protect her, but he lost to the metal-armed man (Cole called him Byrne). I tried to protect Zelda myself, but Byrne hit me in the head. Everything after that is hazy, but I thought I remembered seeing Byrne carrying Zelda away...
I woke up in the castle. Zelda's teacher was there. Alfonzo was there too, but he was very hurt. Teacher told me that the soldiers were looking for Zelda and found us near the Tower of Spirits. I told him that Zelda had been kidnapped but he didn't know what to do. Teacher wasn't going to be of any help.
Alfonzo could barely move. I hated seeing him like this. I was so frustrated that I didn't know how to help Zelda or where she was even being held. I walked out of the room upset. Then...I saw her. Zelda. She was there and she was...floating. She kept trying to talk to the soldiers, but they acted as if they couldn't see her.
I followed Zelda to her room. I called out to her and she responded. She asked if I could see her. I told her I could. Zelda explained that everyone she tries to speak to won't listen to her since they can't seem to hear her. She also told me that Cole sent out a magic blast that knocked her spirit out of her body. So...she's dead...and I'm talking to her ghost.
Zelda told me that she still wants to go to the Tower of Spirits since the sage there might help her find where her body was taken. It's not a bad place to start. Zelda also told me to bring the Spirit Flute since its magic powers have protected this kingdom for years.
Zelda led me to the secret passage that goes to the Tower of Spirits, but the soldier blocking it said I was unprepared and needed a weapon. I figured it wouldn't hurt especially since the guard said that monsters have started appearing.
I met the captain of the guard and he loaned me a sword. Alfonzo would spar with me occasionally so I had a little experience. I hope it'll be enough.
