Day 16
It was not a smooth journey.
When we were about halfway across the water PIRATES AMBUSHED US! I tried to shoot them down, but they were too fast and boarded my passenger car. I had to get back there to protect Carben.
The pirates never seemed to stop coming and their boss was a piece of work. He hit me in the head a couple times. Zelda had to bring me back to my senses so I could save Carben. Eventually, I did manage to kill the pirate boss and drive the rest of them off my train. Carben was shaken up from the experience, but he was ok.
The rest of the trip to the Ocean Sanctuary was uneventful. When we got there, a force gem appeared. Carben gave it to me. Force gems are what power the Spirit Tracks. That's why we've had to seek out those big ones in the temples.
The force gem that Carben gave me seemed to restore a set of tracks in the Forest Realm. I wonder what's over there.
Anyway, we went to the main part of the sanctuary with Carben and I played a duet with him. This one was a little harder, but the end result was beautiful. I thought I heard the ocean waves in this song.
When we finished the song, Carben told me that while the tracks leading to the Ocean Temple have been restored, the temple entrance is underwater. I wasn't too sure about going underwater, but Carben assured me that the Spirit Train was built to go underwater and that I'd be able to breathe. He gave me some instructions on how to open the way underwater. All that was in the instructions was a drawing of the ocean map and some numbers at specific locations.
Well, I guess the only thing we'll have to do is check those locations. There has to be something there.
