Day 13
As I was leaving the Village of Outcasts, I heard a call for help. There was a frog sitting under a tree and surrounded by heavy skulls. It looked familiar. I helped get all of the rocks off him and that was when I noticed what he was wearing. I had seen that shade of purple once before. Zanji had taken me to visit the smithy a few years ago. This frog was one of the dwarven smiths.
I asked him how he got here. He said that he had come here by accident while exiting the woods. I told him I would bring him back. I was luckily able to bring him back with the magic mirror while holding onto him. He turned right back to normal once we reached Hyrule.
I took the smith to the smithy. The two smiths were happy to be reunited. They offered me a discount to temper the Master Sword. I didn't see the harm in making the sword stronger so I let them. They worked fast and the Master Sword felt more powerful than ever before.
With a better sword in hand, I traveled back to the Dark World toward the Ice Palace. I couldn't get to it from the Dark World, but its location in Hyrule wasn't hard to connect. There was a portal next to the Pond of Happiness. The Ice Palace was very cold. The monsters here were even colder. Every step I took I slid slightly. I fell down a hole which led down a few floors. I didn't feel any pain, likely due to the cold.
So far I haven't found the maiden nor the monster guarding her. I wish I brought my winter cloak.
