Swingin' D Horse Rescue saved Zane from slaughter in March of 2017. He was untouchable and spooked at everything, so it took several weeks to gain his trust. Three months after pulling him from an Oklahoma kill lot, Zane was adopted by retired police officer and his wife, a nurse and former rodeo queen.
