Oklahoma summers can be brutal for animals that live outside. We try to keep our horses comfortable as temperatures reach 100 degrees with unbearable humidity. We set up a misting system in the barn, and offer sprinkler time on really hot days. We also put ice blocks in their water troughs, and feed refreshing summer treats. Hope you enjoy our simple summer recipe!
