Adol continues his quest north of Ramzen and reaches the the heights of the nearby waterfall. Inside the limestone cave, Stoker appears before the adventurer and tells him that the Earth Crystal which was once in the cave now resides with a man named Saravat who uses it to test the will of those seeking it out. With a fair warning of what lies ahead, Stoker takes his leave, and Adol begins his trek through the jungle and eventually up the mountainside.
After the trek he eventually arrives at Saravat's cabin, and there await Saravat who had been expecting Adol the entire time. Curious to see what he is made of, Saravat tells Adol of the Terra Crystal's location, but implores that the adventurer get some rest before making another trek.
During the night, Stoker stands outside of the cabin lost in a flashback. In it, the events that led to Foresta's encapsulation in the ice plays over in his head, also giving reason as to why magic cannot be used near crystals (i.e. most boss fights). As dawn breaks Adol steps outside and talks with him, learning that Stoker trained with Saravat himself and learned much, expecting Adol to do the same. With only the thought of freeing Foresta in his mind, Stoker once more takes his leave, and Adol begins the trek to collect the Terra Crystal.
