After passing through the hellish Guilty Flames and figuring a way through the Devil's Corridor, another of the tower's traps, Yunica makes her way to the exit leading to the next floor. There blocking her path awaits a hellspawn that watches over this domain.

What is just a head in the far future during Adol's trek of the Moat of Burnedbless sports an entire upper body in this battle, and it's the first boss with an environmental hazard as well. Gelaldy's fight is one of patience and precision so as to avoid getting caught by lava or getting outlasted.

In order to damage Gelaldy, you must first attack its arms and unscrew them from its body. He'll typically punch at you with either arm, which is dodged by running in the opposite direction and, more importantly, hugging the circular arena's wall that's closest to him. Any farther out and the fist will just keep hitting you and knocking you into the lava for extra damage. If you're properly leveled and weapon is properly tempered, it should take on average two punches per arm to unscrew them with attacks.

During this period Gelaldy can do a number of attacks. He can summon the kamikaze chicks from the dungeon and can also slam the platform causing the pieces of it to briefly be submerged into the lava. His other major attack is firing a laser into the air which rains down individually on each platform as you either step on it or approach it, so paying attention to where the markers appear is key.

After his arms are gone Gelaldy will bite into the platforms directly in an attempt to attack you, exposing himself to your attacks. He'll summon the kamikaze minions and bite one more time before getting new arms, plenty of time to get enough damage in to start the next round.

Eventually as he takes more damage, his pounding of the platforms will cause some of them to disappear, leaving behind sets of two that you'll have to jump across. During this, Gelaldy can use the laser attack or run his arm/flames across the platforms in an attempt to knock you off. Again, the lava isn't too painful, but it pays to watch your jumps with less ground to stand on. Timing it so his punches hit while you're jumping over the gaps in the footing also helps it so you aren't left to attack his arm while it's taking up an entire pair of platforms.

Keeping the pattern of attacking his arms whenever you get the chance (the charged fire attack can help when they are at range), the behemoth will eventually fall.

The monstrous construct toppled, Yunica makes her way to the next floor, the Silent Sands, and one step closer to finding Lady Reah.
