Fledgling time is probably the most critical moment in there lives as baby great horned owlets Most of the owlets fall off there nest and get killed. Then the died ones get eaten by predators . When they have reached 42 days old they will give their first attempt and try and fly.But they really do not learned to fully fly in till 70 to 84 days. In the mean time they move into branches trying to stay away from the predators.
Baby great horned owls become mature at 2 years of age.
They have Monogamous Parents
They Hatch on different days than their siblings.
They are born in stolen nests.
