![Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 00 - Technodrome Guardian Death Glitch Again
I wanted to explore this glitch more and the old video had awful quality, so I decided to redo the glitch in a new video and add some other observations about it. Old video in case youre curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGiGWSisLyY
Basically, when you destroy the Technodrome Guardian, the tracks sometimes damage you during the victory cutscene. If the damage is enough to kill you, various things can happen depending on the timing of the death. Didnt test it extensively, but Im fairly certain you have to destroy every individual part of the Guardian before you destroy the eye for the damage to occur afterwards.
0:00 Main glitch (Skips part of the cutscene, zombifies turtle)
- This is the main glitch I discovered twelve-odd years ago. If you kill the boss while youre far enough to the right of it, you will die and it will skip the rest of the cutscene. Afterwards, you will be in a zombie state where you are still playing the turtle that died, but are unable to pause the game to switch to other turtles. Getting hit in this state instantly kills you.
0:25 Dying way too early (Regular death effect)
- If you die as soon as the destruction begins, the game will treat it as you losing to the boss like normal.
0:41 Dying slightly too early (Softlock on character select)
- If you die after getting only a little bit into the cutscene, you will enter the [Turtle] got caught. menu, but the game will softlock. It wont let you choose a turtle.
1:01 In-between death (Doesnt skip cutscene, zombifies turtle)
- If you die late enough to trigger the zombie turtle glitch, but still a bit early, the game wont skip the fanfare after defeating the boss. Outside of this, the glitch is identical to the main one.
1:33 Collecting pizza (De-zombifies turtle)
- If you eat a pizza or rescue yourself (latter is impossible without glitching/hacking due to unavoidable hazards), it will fix the zombie turtle glitch, allowing you to switch turtles and play normally again.
1:50 Defeating Shredder as a zombie (Zombifies game)
- If, through some miracle, you manage to reach Shredder and kill him while youre still in the zombie state, the game will softlock. There seems to be something in the code that forces the boss to stay alive if it detects you are dead, so it will take away your controls and Shredder will keep attacking you endlessly. This softlock is very similar to a glitch I encountered on my game about 5 years ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCv1h9MDq9Y).
Not shown in the video, but if you die right after youve thrown something (Shuriken, Scroll, etc.) at the boss and it hits after youve died, it wont kill the boss regardless of how little health it has left. This is also why Shredder doesnt die if you get to him in the zombie state, since it triggers the same status check.
Assuming you dont have other caught turtles, reaching the area with a captive turtle in your zombie state will have you staring at yourself. Heres an example: https://imgur.com/WC8CLAc
Happy new year by the way. Cant wait for 2028 when Technodrome Guardian Death Glitch Once Again comes out. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 00 - Technodrome Guardian Death Glitch Again](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/b8tujEHBea4/mqdefault.jpg)

![Super Mario 64 - 120 Star Playthrough (Archive* [2024])
*NOTE: This is an unedited archive of a live no-commentary playthrough originally streamed on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/bippoernesti), which means there may be deaths, restarts or intermissions/interruptions.
Id been playing this game too much recently so I figured itd be a good time to do a stream after all this time. I was shocked that I managed to do some tricks in a single try, when I normally struggle with them significantly (like Bob-omb Battlefield island jump, owlless, Dire Dire Docks red coins poleless), but I pretty much lost all my momentum by the time I entered Tick Tock Clock.
Also, since I grew up mostly playing the PAL version of the game, I have no idea if the DDD Bowser sub lag was truly that horrible in other regions. Id heard about it, but I feel like it couldnt have possibly been as slow as the game got on this emulator.
Dunno why I didnt think to just long jump to the second ring of coins off the island for the last coin on BoB, followed by a triple jump dive into the star.

Stream Title: Power Stars... of course!
Live Notification: Mario.
Stream Description: Just a random 120 Star stream of Super Mario 64 because its an easy game to play. Partially a test stream to see if all my settings are good on the new PC.
Im awful at making promises, but I am hoping this will help me get back into doing at least a couple streams here and there again. Super Mario 64 - 120 Star Playthrough (Archive* [2024])](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/byqo0-ZU7V0/mqdefault.jpg)

Randomizer Seed: 34424
Been wanting to do this for a long time, Ive done several 120 Star playthroughs of the rando in the past. I tried to make the settings as random and wild as it allows, with the only exception being that I adjusted level exits to match the randomized ones, since itd just be extra time spent backtracking when I inevitably fail in a level. The first painting on this seed was a perfect example; imagine if I would have had to backtrack from the basement every time.
Bowser in the Fire Sea is very often excruciatingly painful, this time was no different. The rest of the seed was surprisingly kind.

![Super Mario Maker 2 - Custom Course: Typical Travelling
Was in the mood to make a basic Super Mario Bros. 3 level and this is what came out.
Course ID: J4V-Q4H-1TF
[0:00-2:26] Playthrough
- 0:14 Tiered power-up (Super Leaf).
- 0:16 Hidden vine here takes you to a little secret.
- 0:26 Hidden Super Star, just because.
- 0:30 Tiered power-up (Fire Flower).
- 0:35 This pipe leads to a small area with coins and a tiered power-up (Super Leaf).
- 1:10 Flying up here leads to more coins and another Super Star.
- 1:20 This pipe has some coins inside.
- 1:29 Hidden block with a 1UP here.
- 1:41 Missed in the video, but theres a hidden 1UP block hovering above the left pillar.
- 1:47 The upper ?-block on the Sledge Bro segment has a tiered power-up (Fire Flower).
- 1:48 Flying up near here takes to another small secret in the clouds.
- 1:52 Whipping the edge reveals a hidden 1UP.
- 2:04 Flying to the top of the screen at the end, youll see some coins and a 1UP.
Theres not really much to talk about outside of the timestamps.
I dont know why, but I like using the Hammer/Sledge Bro two-layer thing a lot even though I hated it in the original games. Super Mario Maker 2 - Custom Course: Typical Travelling](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/e6EtW-OCRuk/mqdefault.jpg)
![Super Mario Maker 2 - Custom Course: Rapacitys Snare
The longest course Ive made, or one of the shortest, depending on your desire for loot. The nature of the course allows you to clear it in under 2 seconds with minimal effort, and I knew that would be the path most will pick. However, I was not aware of how badly a high clear rate kneecaps the future of a course; seeing the level instantly die the moment it was uploaded was not a happy experience, but it was educational.
Also made dumb lore for no reason.
Course ID: NXS-FHB-72G
[0:00-6:48] 999 Coin Playthrough
- 0:47 Its possible to knock the Koopa out in a way where it bounces to the left and essentially gets in your way, but you can stomp it on the right, it should bounce onto the bridge when it gets up.
- 1:17 The claw is tricky if you dont know that holding Down, then pressing Jump lets you just drop off.
- 1:47 Ultra-secret 1UP, indicated by the flash when you walk over the block.
- 4:54 The big reward for getting all the way to the end, you get to clean up (most) of the house of its coins with minimal risk.
[6:48-7:02] 4F Exit
- Every floor below top has a dedicated exit to leave early ...but why would you, when there are still more riches just ahead? Youve performed admirably thus far, it would be a shame to leave so close to the end, wouldnt you agree?
[7:03-7:16] 3F Exit
- Second thoughts? Pity, youve shown such potential, only to let slip this chance at unimaginable wealth.
[7:17-7:34] 2F Exit
- Leaving so soon? Youre leaving _a lot_ of treasure behind, and youre fine with that? Very well then, leave... and let someone with *ambition* know about the opportunity you chose to squander.
[7:34-7:59] 1F Exit
- wtf
[7:59-8:34] Permanently Missable 30-Coin
- If you take too long to get up, the pounder will release the Spinies, making collecting it a very lethal retrieval.
[8:35-8:44] Permanently Missable 50-Coin
- You need to go under the winged Muncher to get the coin, which becomes blocked on the return trip.
Lore Time: The Hammer Bro on the top floor is the owner, and the creatures you fight are other fortune seekers whose greed outweighed their abilities. Trapped in his house, they were forced to become pawns in his devious game.
Oooo so spooky.
Anyway enjoy this one video before I lumber back into the shadows again for who knows how long. Shame it also suffered from nasty sync and frame issues. Super Mario Maker 2 - Custom Course: Rapacitys Snare](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/eMpewxGuqr0/mqdefault.jpg)
