What can you make from parts lying around your shop? Or your friend's shop, LoL ;^) Most of my projects are born from stuff that I already have on hand. Going to the store for supplies, or worse, buying what you need ready-made is hardly ever as satisfying as making something yourself. In this video I improve the kickstand on my bicycle which would sink into loose soil. And then I add a soft bottom to it so it won't scratch anything like painted surfaces. It was a fun, effective solution and it didn't cost anything beside the supplies I had, I mean, 'my friend's and I', had lying around. On top of that, I relish the idea that sharing these projects will encourage others to use their garages, shops, man-caves or she-sheds to start their own fun builds.
