I’VE BEEN IN A SHIPPING MOOD. And I have this song stuck in my head. So I decided to create a shippy video…dedicated to ALL THE RP SHIPS!
I tell you, one of my most absolute favorite things about these new crazily insane RPs is all the shipping fuel (finally, some good fucking romance). This whole video is not only dedicated to the creative, wonderful, healthy romantic relationships people have created throughout these RPs, but to all the amazing people who created them! I love you guys so much, you’re all so lovely and creative and I’m so glad to call all of you my friends. Here’s to all of the goddamn shipping fuel your little heart can desire.
(also i kept this limited to video RPs because the forum RPs would take so long to edit and i wasn’t about to suffer like that, so small shoutout to Misha x Alex, Emery x Naya, John x Casey, and Cayden x Lucian)
SIDE NOTE 1: I originally wasn’t going to include any MD ships but as everyone pointed out to me (and even I soon realized after putting this together) that I had zero LGBT romances and I honestly felt ashamed/guilty. So I spent an extra day on this for the gay babies, which also meant masking Chel and Dimitri XD. (am finally glad i put those Voltron backgrounds to some use tho)

Recently I’ve come to realization that my fellow contestants might not have 100% access to me, or maybe even not realize a few things that I thought I made clear. I can see that I didn’t and that’s my fault, not yours. So! Lemme take a bit of your time to explain somethings, because I never wanna come across as unfair, biased, subjective, none of that. I want this to be a fun and entertaining contest! I want you guys to feel like you’re creating a story, not competing. Ok so let’s get into it.
1.) Extensions are accepted! I’ll gladly give them to you, because I wouldn’t want anyone to feel stressed or pressured to get it done. I also know that this is finals seasons and a lot of you are going through the seven layers of hell (I know I am). And time is limitless! If you feel you need an extra two weeks persay, that’s fine by me and my co-hosts!
2.) Me and my co-hosts will gladly give anyone editing/storytelling advice if you really feel like you need it and/or struggling with something. We don’t want to be these GODS THAT YOU MUST BOW DOWN TO. We’ll gladly get more involved and help anyone with plotting, effects, backgrounds, masks, you name it! That being said: Any plotting questions about Megara come to me, BUT plotting questions about John Smith should go to WolfSpirit79 (Olivia). She’s the main writer for him, and has a better grip on his personality than I do XD.
3.) Speaking of which, contacts! 4.) Don’t be shy around me or my co-judges! We’re nerds/weirdos/sleep deprived editors just like the rest of you. Like I said, we are not GODS. Most of you are my friends, so you talk to me often anyways. But just because I’m a host now, it doesn’t change anything. All I really want is for everyone to have fun.
If I missed something or didn’t make myself clear or you’re still confused, feel free to tell me! This IS my first time being a host after all. While I give my contestants constructive criticism, I will happily take it in return. I am not the person who believes I’m right 100% of the time. Most of time I can be an idiot and be wrong about things XD. So please don’t be afraid of hurting my feelings or offending me. I have a pretty thick skin and I will look at what you said not as you trying to offend me, but trying to help me be better at a position I’ve never been in before. Thank you for reading!

Hey wow so this came out of nowhere XD. This is for AiraSora’s Say My Name MEP, which is a song from the Beetlejuice musical! (Yes they made a Beetlejuice musical and yes it is amazing)
This MEP part actually comes with a bit of story. I actually had entered this back when it first came out, but I was never really super inspired to edit my part because I wasn’t completely satisfied with the piece of the song I had chosen and I ended up just getting caught up in other things. So I dropped out. Come the start of October, and I start thinking about the MEP again and how I felt kinda bad that I had dropped out. And THEN, LITERALLY A DAY LATER, two parts open back up and ONE OF THEM was one of the parts I originally wanted. Good things apparently CAN happen in 2020.
Also can I just say: Hi, I’m Meg. And I love musicals but editing with them is very hard. This is one of the few times where I’m actually happy with the lip syncing and playing with the visuals of musicals so YAY!
Since I know peeps are gonna ask, the girl I used to portray Lydia is Abba from a movie called Asterix and the Vikings. I don’t totally remember what prompted me to download it? I just know that I did and then when I looked through the animation I was so blown away by how good it was and ultimately I’m pretty surprised this leading lady has never been used in a crossover before. I picked her because she gave off that vibe that Lydia has from her animation. Youthful but still very spunky and aggressive.
Extra side note: Pls listen to the entire Beetlejuice soundtrack it’s amazing and also look up funny moments from the musical on YouTube because it is seriously the funniest shit ever. I watched the movie the day after I saw the musical and man, the musical is such a massive improvement. Not even from just a story and character perspective, but in how fucking HILARIOUS it is. I laughed so hard.
