This video breaks down Subaru’s physical feats in Re:Zero season 1 to show why he’s far more dangerous than people give him credit for. From overpowering multiple thugs in the alley fight in episode one, slamming them into walls hard enough to leave craters, to displaying impressive reaction speed against Felt, Subaru consistently shows strength and reflexes well beyond an average human. He even manages to partially block attacks from Elsa, whose strikes are canonically described as casually surpassing the speed of sound, and later tanks impacts that leave craters in solid rock while still pushing forward.
