After servicing this cybernet. 134 chassis set in the previous video, it was time to test it. As soon as I heard Mr Chippie on it I realised there was a snag; he sounded off frequency to me....bear in mind the radio is spot on frequency. Now when I serviced the radio, I observed someone had changed the 10.695Mhz ceramic I.F. filter for a crystal one. I'll replace the filter back to a ceramic one tomorrow & the rx snag will be gone.

The radio is spot on in every other way, but the five mile point is now getting noisy with full growth of leaves on trees. I doubt we'll be having much joy on 400mW low power tests until Autumn!
