These massive 1983-85 crystal controlled 1.5W handhelds were made for Tandy by their scanner manufacturer, GRE in Korea. These are so well designed & made that they exceed the range of most '4W' handhelds from other brands. This particular set is the best performing example of this model & have ever seen...it's an absolute flying machine. The customer has asked us to field test this & I'll be looking forward to doing that together with his '4w' Merit 6000 as comparison.
