For twenty years, Yellowstone National Park was my home… and I thought I knew its darkest corners. Then I was assigned to inspect a restricted valley that officially didn't exist. Behind an eight-foot fence, I found dead forests, strange survey markers, abandoned structures, and evidence that something had gone terribly wrong beneath the ground.
Then the ranger who knew the truth disappeared, my photographs vanished, and people started warning me to stop asking questions. What happened in that valley was never meant to be discovered… and the deeper I looked, the more I realized that whatever Yellowstone was hiding had been buried there for decades. Some secrets are dangerous to uncover. Others are dangerous simply because they're still alive...
