Henry Cartwright recounts a bone-chilling ordeal deep in the heart of the Congo, where he, his girlfriend Naadia, and seven companions dared to forge a new beginning by establishing a commune. Their desperate expedition is relentlessly haunted by ominous nightmares and unnerving encounters: a mysterious, impenetrable fence that seems to guard ancient secrets, and tribespeople who whisper the name "The Asili" with equal measures of dread and reverence.
Each step forward in this unforgiving wilderness is a plunge into the unknown, where every shadow could be hiding untold horrors.
