‘The sign itself was barely legible, its paint faded and peeling, but I could just make out the words: “Old Lonesome Trail.” It wasn’t marked on any of my maps or guides, and I couldn’t recall reading about it in any of my extensive research…’
Tonight’s terrifying story is 'I Followed an Abandoned Path on The Appalachian Trail' by the wonderfully talented Darius McCorkindale (yes, I admit, that’s my nom de plume), kindly shared with me via my subreddit for the express purpose of having me narrate it here for you all (of course it was: I wrote it):
