A Yellow-and-Black Mud Dauber Wasp (Sceliphron caementarium) adds mud to her nest at the headquarters at Attwater Prairie Chicken National Wildlife Refuge, in Colorado County, TX, USA.

She starts by bringing a ball of mud, then spreads it across the wall at the bottom of the existing nest, then gets rid of possible impurities in the mud, then smears the excess on an already completed portion of the nest (to clean her face), and finally leaves to get more mud.
