. This is a Yandu sem-rigid mobile endoscope I did a video on back in 2018 (almost two years ago) that I left as "unlisted" and now made it public. Anyway, the endoscope is semi-rigid meaning you can bend it at angles you need and it'll maintain it which is good for fishing into areas where a flexible one might get up on things. The controller is rechargeable with its own power source and features a full-size USB port. This is advantageous as you don't need to use an OTG (On-the-Go) adapter with your mobile device; just use your standard USB micro/C or Apple 30-pin/lightning cable. It does make it more tricky for connecting to a regular Mac or PC as you'd need a USB A to A type cable (two male ends). It does come with a short USB micro cable.
The app required to use the scope is called "WiFi Image"
One click of the power button turns the endoscope on; two clicks to turn it back off. It has a wheel to adjust the brightness of the LED lighting at the scope end and also has a dedicated button for taking snapshots without needing to do it on your device (video still requires you to do that on your device).
Three accessories provided with the scope are:
Hook (for catching objects)
Mirror (for looking around say inside a pipe)
Magnet (for catching any ferrous objects)

. Anyone who has tried to use the LEGO Power Functions system outdoors knows that the range is quite limited due to interference of the infrared signal (sunlight and lack of objects to bounce off of). I experimented with the idea of using a remote control extender designed for use in entertainment centers. By transmitting RF signals and then re-transmitting the IR signal at the receiver to the PF receiver, it eliminates any potential range issue (up 150 feet).
The one I chose to use based on how it operated was the NextGen Remote Control Extender Genius (my video on it is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ij_Fa7jtOY )
Building instructions for the extender holder are here https://mausolfb.altervista.org/lego/Building%20Instructions/Building%20Instructions%20[IR-Holder].html
