. Here I show the Sony Smartwatch SW2. It's the next generation smartwatch up from Sony's previous model the SW1. Notable features include:
IP57 Water Resistance (can be submerged a few feet)
Bluetooth 3.0 & NFC connectivity
3-4 days of battery life depending on usage.
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwhich or newer needed
Touch-screen interface
The watch can be paired manually over Bluetooth or if your phone supports NFC simply touch the two devices together and the watch will automatically pair and tell the phone to download the Smartconnect app to work with the watch. After which you can install apps from the app store and configure settings. _

![LEGO Power Functions: How to improve operating range

. Anyone who has tried to use the LEGO Power Functions system outdoors knows that the range is quite limited due to interference of the infrared signal (sunlight and lack of objects to bounce off of). I experimented with the idea of using a remote control extender designed for use in entertainment centers. By transmitting RF signals and then re-transmitting the IR signal at the receiver to the PF receiver, it eliminates any potential range issue (up 150 feet).
The one I chose to use based on how it operated was the NextGen Remote Control Extender Genius (my video on it is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ij_Fa7jtOY )
Building instructions for the extender holder are here https://mausolfb.altervista.org/lego/Building%20Instructions/Building%20Instructions%20[IR-Holder].html
