I've had numerous hard drives fail over the years (mainly the "click of death") but this hard drive gives a sample of a few different failures... namely "riding the platter" and the "click of death".

The hard drive in question is a Seagate Barracuda 750GB SATA from an HP Personal Media Drive enclosure. The head has failed with subsequent damage to the drive platter(s).
