Makoto Date calls Kiryu again to come back to Touto Hospital.
Once there, Kiryu finds a cleaned up Akiyama and meets Nojiri, a bastard from Child Protection Services. It seems no matter what country you're from, CPS workers are always lowlife scumbags.
Nojiri informs Kiryu that Haruto is being taken into CPS custody since Haruka has no living relatives. He further states that after Haruto is placed in a CPS nursery, he'll be moved into an orphanage later. Kiryu objects stating that he's Haruka's guardian and that he will take Haruto into his care instead. The bastard Nojiri dismisses him while laying ludicrous accusations against Kiryu before heading back upstairs.
Kiryu is determined to take Haruto with him, defying both CPS and the authorities. Shun argues that this would be kidnapping but Kiryu refuses any other option. To Akiyama's dismay, this leads into a boss battle between the two allies.
