In this video, I challenged myself to tackle using some of my oldest products- 6x6 paper pads circa 2012. That’s old! The papers are so cute- I don’t know why I’m hoarding them. To create the layout base, I chose two of the same patterned papers from a 6x6 pad, trimmed them both to 4.5x6, then adhered them to a separate piece of paper (I know I’ll never use it) to form my layout base. I trimmed two strips from a second piece of patterned paper (same collection) to 1x6 inches, then attached those to the right edge of textured white cardstock- which formed the base of my journal spot. Since I only have the paper pads from this collection, I relied on my Cricut to draw + cut the title and embellishments then coloured them with alcohol markers. This layout is going in a 6x8 album outside of the page protector.
These are the products I used today. Please be aware that the 6x6 paper pad I used (*My Mind’s Eye Love Me) is no longer available, so feel free to substitute what I used with whatever you’ve got!
