HAPPY NEW YEARS, friends! This is my last video for 2023, but I’ll be back next year with more Cricut projects! 😉 It’s a good thing ‘next year’ is in the very near future! In this video, I created a pocket page layout measuring 6x8 inches, featuring two 6x4 pockets. The top pocket was reserved for the title card- which was designed in Cricut DS, then created using my Explore 3 and products from Simple Stories Mix + a Mingle, and puffer stickers from an older Vicki Boutin.
The cardstock base has a pattern on it that was created with my Cricut and coloured in with alcohol markers, and the pattern is repeated in the second 6x4 pocket. It measures 3x4 inches, because it shares space with my photo, which was converted to black + white and printed at home with my Epson printer. Find the products I used listed below. I also used my Cricut to add a border around the journaling, as well as the journaling. The Polaroid frame is a Cricut image, and I added the ‘dachshund through the snow’ phrase to the image. This way, it ties both pockets together (a cute festive chipboard dachshund is in the title card- annddd this lsuout id about one of the pups photoboming mom).
I’m so happy with how this little layout came together- I’m in love with our little dachshund friend!
