Hi friends, thanks for visiting my channel today. I hope my layout inspires you!

As always, my creative process starts with sketching my design in Cricut DS; once I’m happy with my design, I use my Explore 3 to draw the things and cut the papers!

The layout I created today is a 6x8 pocket page sporting two 3x4 photos and a single 6x4 journal card. The photos were printed at home; one was converted to black and white, and the other left in colour. The only reason the one photo was edited was because the colours in it would’ve competed with the colours in my journal card. Can’t have that happen!

Besides the patterned papers on the far right edge of the journal card, everything else was created digitally. The sub title, tiny heart in the top centre of the card, the journaling, gnomes and text box was all drawn using my Cricut. All the colourable images were coloured with alcohol markers.

As promised, here’s the dimensions for the journal card:

-12x12 Rainbow paper: 2x4 inches
-6x8 Yellow dot patterned paper: 1x4 inches
-6x8 Diamond patterned paper: 0.5x4 inches
*The scallop border was punched using an EK Success punch
-12x12 white cardstock mat: 4x4 inches
