Here's a short compilation of promos for shows airing on WTAF (Philadelphia's channel 29), recorded on June 12th, 1985 (a few years before the station changed its call letters to WTXF). These were seen during the late-night movie package "NightLife Theatre."
First up, the station's ID and movie intro, followed by a promo for The Benny Hill Show. Following that, promos for Taxi, Laverne & Shirley, and Private Benjamin. Finally, there's a promo for It Takes Two, notable for several reasons: the cast included Helen Hunt, fifteen years before she won an Academy Award; the 1982-83 ABC sitcom only lasted 22 episodes, which means just over a month's worth when aired in weekday syndication; and if the kitchen seen in the promo looks familiar, that's because it's the same set later used for The Golden Girls (although they changed the wallpaper in the final season). A NLT bump closes out the video.
