How to perfectly reverse sear Wagyu Filets on the Slow ’N Sear Travel Kettle! Talk about a great meal!
• Started with two nice Wagyu Filets from Hassell Cattle Company.
• Seasoned with kosher salt only 24 hours in advance and before grilling added granulated garlic, onion powder and pepper.
• Set up the SNS Travel Kettle for indirect cooking.
• Started to warm them up to 80F degrees and flipped them until we hit 100F
• Let the charcoal in the SNS Basket to get hot for searing.
• Seared for 1 minute each side 2 times before pulling them to rest.
• Total cook time was about 40 minutes for warming up before searing.
