Workshop Project #15 - Workbenches and Mill
Over the last few weeks, I started up my metal workshop improvement program again. You might recall my adventure with the metal lathe? If not, here's the video: youtube.com/watch?v=QQtdvLvsIAo
I have put some of my projects that involve fabricating parts on hold, because a lathe is an important, but by far not the only tool I need for those. Lates can - per design - make round things. Or at most round things with flat caps at the end. Yes, I did turn a cube in school, but that's a bit special. I need a mill! And after lots of searching, I found a model that was in the right price and size range and available!
In this video, I'm setting up a workplace for the lathe and the mill, unpack the mill, fix the safety on it (by removing it) and have a go with some t-nut adjustments.
