Some more stuff from my late grandfather. As far as I know, he used these bells on his ox cart... back in the 1950s and earlier. I found the three of them in various places, but all were quite ugly: stained, dusty, no handles at all and only one proper clapper. One bell had a rusty nut as a clapper and the third one had nothing.
I did some sandblasting before I started recording these videos, so the first shot is after that step already...
The handles made for a good first project with my woodturning lather (see last video) and my only issue with them is the center hole: it was slightly too deep with two of the handles, so there's now a dimple in the end. Meh. Still, I like how they came out.
