Maybe it is more appropriate to call it a dish? Anyway, this was a shape that I had never tried before but it looked interesting enough. Almost quit right at the start when I found that there was a big crack in the blank causing me to lose a big chunk of it. Now I'm glad that I carried on regardless and finished the project. It is really pretty.
I have also found Tung Oil to be perhaps the most underestimated finish on YouTube. It is a relatively cheap product, its foodsafe, it gives a nice shine and it works very well on Walnut.
