Herbalism and plant knowledge are what keep some healed, safe, and fed. In this hybrid session, women herbalists, agriculturalists, and foragers discuss what it means to be a woman in the outdoor space.

- Maile Auterson is the founder and executive director of Springfield Community Gardens. Under her guidance, she has grown the program to eighteen gardens, two urban farmers markets, and one hospital farm.

- Mia Jones is the founder of both Soul Fresh Farms and United Community Change and works to increase healthier food access.

- Marla Seager is the president of Tahlequah Farmers Market. She has pioneered a school program that promotes cooking with locally grown food.

- Hannah Hemmelgarn is the assistant program director at the University of Missouri Center for Agroforestry.
