Hailed as one of the “Queens of Sacred Steel,” we open the evening with Fran “Lady Strings” Grace on the steel guitar. An interlude with the Kingdom Fellowship Praise Team will highlight the roots of contemporary gospel with a set of traditional African American hymns. To close the evening, clap your hands and rejoice to the soul-shaking sounds of NEA National Heritage Fellows the Legendary Ingramettes.
