Pequannock Township, New Jersey

While patrolling in Pequannock Township, law enforcement observed a silver car displaying erratic driving behavior. The vehicle repeatedly crossed lane lines and swayed within its lane, prompting a traffic stop. Upon approach, the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle's interior. The female driver admitted to consuming alcohol at a local bar. Field sobriety tests were conducted, revealing impaired motor skills and coordination. The female driver was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). She was issued multiple traffic citations and scheduled for a court appearance. The incident was documented through body-worn cameras and vehicle cameras.
