I, conducted a follow-up investigation into a series of shopliftings occurring on January 5, 2024, at the ShopRite on State Highway 35. Security footage revealed a female suspect concealed $454.67 worth of merchandise—primarily high-end meats and vitamins—across four distinct entries into the store. After identifying the suspect through an APB bulletin and assistance from the Rockland County Sheriff's Department, the suspect agreed to turn herself in on March 13, 2024. During our interview, she claimed neurological issues and a '15-minute brain delay' stemming from past domestic abuse, stating she could not recall the specific events despite being presented with receipt data matching her food stamp cards.
