In molecular biology the wobble hypothesis is connected with the binding of tRNA with mRNA on the ribosome. The mRNA has codons which are the set of three nucleotides. While the tRNA has anticodons
The codon and the anticodon are usually complementary to one another. Now the first two bases of mRNA will form a perfect pairing with the last two base of tRNA. Now there is a term known as wobble position. The third codon of mRNA and the first codon of tRNA is termed as the wobble position. The nucleotides at this position can wobble. The phenomenon in which the The third codon of mRNA and the first codon of tRNA interacts in a loose way, is termed as the Wobble's Hypothesis.
