After a weather delay the Attachment Shelter is about to become a reality!!
I start off today by setting the perimeter sills and getting them level. Then, since it's Thanksgiving Weekend, some family were able to come out to the camp and we had a good old fashion barn raising kind of day!!
My oldest son Gerry and his wife Michelle and their 2 dogs Molly and Lemme came out on Friday and stayed in the camper. It was down to 0 overnight but they said they were warm in the camper so I guess being young is not all bad!! LOL
Then on Saturday, Gerry's oldest boy, Ryan, and 3 sons Christopher, Jackson and Axle came out to help. Then my middle son Chris came over too. So we had a good size work party!! My youngest son Derek was not able to make it because he had to work!! Poor Derek..
The shelter frame got assembled and then the tarp was put on. This was a big job but I am very thankful, especially on this Thanksgiving Weekend, to have had all this help!!
