It snowed – Let's Plow!!
We've been getting our fair share of snow the last week or so. That and very frigid temperature too boot. Makes a good combination since it's winter after all.
But the good thing about getting the snow is, I get the plow the lane and landing. And the bad thing about getting the snow is I have to plow the lane and landing!! LOL
The Massey Ferguson GC2300 Awesome tractor is just that, an awesome tractor, but it's cold blooded. It has always been hard to start in the cold and with the temps last night being at -26 I figured the old girl would be hard to wake up and she was. But I ended up jumping it with a booster pack and all was right with the world again!!
It's hard for me to get much more than a hour or so of straight time to do anything out in the yard or in the shop, so getting to do some plowing was nice I have to say. But having to stop every hour and head back in the camp kind of made it more of a challenge. But it all worked out.
I even got to use the snow blower this time. There is a good base of snow down now so using the blower pays off since it doesn't pick up a lot of gravel and blow it on the lawn and gardens!! The blower sure does a nice job, but you have to travel a lot slower when using the blower.
