Winter Camp by Thalamus Europe, played from tape
When I was younger, I had the demo of this on a zzap tape - it was only years later that I learned that zzap and thalamus were owned by the same people, and so.... well, this game has a terrible multiload, because of course it does, and of course that was _never mentioned_ in the zzap review.
That having been said, at least you get unlimited continues on the current level, so at least it's not _that_ bad - honestly, many sins can be forgiven by not having to constantly reload, but... well, still, there is very little gameplay for the amount of loading being done here.
Of course, the game crashed whenever I tried to play the second level more than once, so I didn't get enough practice to really ge tthe hang of that one - i wonder if that's just my copy, but it did it three times in a row!
Super well presented game, what acutally pretty fun. Just a shame about how long it all takes to load in... I suspect if I had a non-bugged copy, I'd be happier - I definetly wanted to get better at that second level, so...
