Today I’m taking a look at the finished edition of The Winding Tarot from Three Trees Tarot
A few months ago I had the absolute pleasure of reviewing the prototype edition of this deck and completely fell in love with its quiet storytelling, woodland atmosphere and beautifully intricate monochrome artwork. In today’s video we’ll be exploring the final published version to see how it compares and to admire all the thoughtful production details that Three Trees Tarot are known and loved for.
Created by Stephanie Burrows and illustrated by Adam Oehlers, The Winding Tarot follows the journey of a tiny spider venturing out into an unfamiliar world, creating a deeply immersive and narrative driven tarot experience. With its gothic pen and ink aesthetic, cosy yet melancholic atmosphere and intuitive approach to symbolism, this deck feels like stepping into a beautifully illustrated folktale.
