Today I’m taking a look at the intriguing and little-known Derepas Tarot, a hand-drawn deck created by Australian artist Jody Quackenbush.
This remarkable independent deck represents more than four years of dedicated work and was originally produced in a limited edition for an exhibition in Perth, Western Australia. Rich in symbolism and beautifully illustrated in pen and ink, the Derepas Tarot blends familiar Rider–Waite–Smith influences with Jody’s own artistic vision and unique symbolic language.
