Our iconic Australian wildlife is loved and admired worldwide and especially by us back at home. Sadly some of our wildlife is becoming critically endangered. Luckily for us and the wildlife, Captain Thomas Marshall from our Bogee Brigade is a licensed wildlife rescue and rehabilitator.
During his firefighting career, which stretches back to 1965, Thomas has helped to rehabilitate thousands of native animals. He’s also worked with National Parks and Wildlife providing his expertise and helped set up free online training courses for firefighters and civilians
