Following last weeks adventure with that Solo Summiteer, my Achilles was playing up, so I needed something easy in order to get out, Sale Fell had been on my radar for a little while and was a perfect option. a nice easy stroll from Wythop Mill of about half an hour to 45 minutes saw us at the top taking in the views of Bassenthwaite Lake and over the Solway.
